Connect Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP apps
Add the connector to Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or any app that supports remote MCP servers.
DraftThis page is a first draft and may change.
Any app that supports remote MCP servers can use the connector. It speaks the MCP standard over HTTP and signs in with OAuth, so you never paste a password or a key: the app opens a Server Host sign-in page the first time.
The connector address is:
https://mcp.test.quarrymc.net/mcp
Claude Code
Run this in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http server-host-dev https://mcp.test.quarrymc.net/mcp
Then start Claude Code, type /mcp, pick the server-host-dev server and choose to sign in. Your browser
opens the Server Host sign-in and consent screen.
Cursor
Open Cursor's settings, find MCP (or Tools and integrations) and add a new MCP server. Or
put this in the mcp.json file Cursor uses for MCP servers:
{
"mcpServers": {
"server-host-dev": {
"url": "https://mcp.test.quarrymc.net/mcp"
}
}
}
Cursor then asks you to sign in to Server Host in your browser.
VS Code
Add this to the .vscode/mcp.json file in your project, or run the MCP: Add Server command and
choose HTTP:
{
"servers": {
"server-host-dev": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://mcp.test.quarrymc.net/mcp"
}
}
}
Any other app
Look for "add MCP server", "remote MCP" or "custom connector" in the app's settings, and give it the address above. The app must support:
- remote MCP over streamable HTTP, and
- OAuth sign-in with dynamic client registration.
Apps that only run local MCP servers (started as a program on your computer) cannot use it yet. Gemini and other apps will be listed here when they support remote MCP servers.
Good to know
- The first time, you see the consent screen: which servers this app may reach, and Allow, Ask or Block for each action. See Connecting your AI.
- Every app you connect shows up in Account, Connected AIs, where you can cut it off at once.
