The AI page
Decide what your AI may do on a server, approve its requests, watch it work and stop it, and undo what it did.
DraftThis page is a first draft and may change.
Each server has an AI page. It is where you decide what your AI may do on that server, approve what it asks, watch it work, and undo its changes. Your AI can never change these settings, approve its own requests, see passwords or reach other servers. To connect an AI in the first place, see Connecting your AI.
Waiting for your OK
When your AI asks to do something set to Ask, the request waits here (and at the top of Your servers) until you decide. Each request shows which AI asked and when, a pill for the source (for example Modrinth, or Not from Modrinth for an unreviewed plugin), exactly what it wants to do, and the AI's own reason in its words.
- Approve: a snapshot is taken first, then it is done.
- Deny: your AI is told no.
A request you do not answer expires after 24 hours and your AI is told. Approvals happen only here in the panel. Owners, co-owners and admins can decide; other roles can see the queue.
What your AI may do
A table lists every action, grouped, each with Allow, Ask or Block:
- Allow runs it straight away.
- Ask sends it to your approvals.
- Block refuses it.
Three presets set the whole table at once; you can then change single actions:
- Careful: your AI can look at everything but asks before every change.
- Balanced: everyday changes run straight away; risky ones (ops, ranks, plugins, resets, rollbacks) ask first. This is where new servers start.
- Full trust: everything runs straight away. A snapshot is still taken before every change.
Setting a risky action to Allow asks you to confirm first, and an amber line stays under it: your AI will do it without asking, and text hidden in a sign, book or chat could trick it. Changes save at once. Only the owner and co-owners can change this table. These presets are our defaults, open to change.
Chat reading
Let the AI read recent chat is off by default. Turning it on asks you to confirm, because players can write messages meant to trick an AI. Even then, chat reaches your AI wrapped and labelled as players' words.
AIs that can reach this server
The list shows your AI and your team's AIs, whose each is, and when each was last used. Stop pauses one AI on this server; Cut access removes it from this server (for your own AI it disconnects it from your account).
Your AI at work
While an AI works on a server, a strip at the top of every server page says so and lists each step as it happens. Press Stop to pause it: it cannot change anything on this server until you press Let it continue. Undo what it did takes you to the history.
History and undo
History lists everything your AI did on this server in plain words, newest first. Press Undo on a step to put back the snapshot taken just before it. Later changes to the same files are undone too, and a snapshot of now is taken first, so an undo can itself be undone. Undone steps are crossed out.
