Building menus with your AI
Ask your connected AI to build, change and publish menus, and what it can and cannot put on a button.
DraftThis page is a first draft and may change.
If you have connected your AI, you can ask it to build menus for you, for example: "Make a shop menu with three ranks, a button to go to spawn, and open it with /shop."
What it can do
| What your AI does | Allowed by default |
|---|---|
| List your menus and read a page | Yes |
| Save a draft of a page | Yes |
| Publish a page to players | It asks you first |
You can change these in the panel under your AI's permissions. Drafts your AI saves show up in the builder, so you can look at them, change them and publish them yourself.
Your AI sees the same problems the builder shows, in the same plain words, and fixes them before it publishes.
Console buttons made by your AI
A button that runs a command as the server console lets anyone who can see it run that command. So when your AI publishes a page, every console command on it must be on the safe list of commands for AI. If one is not, publishing is refused and your AI tells you. You can look at the page in the builder and publish it yourself if you are happy with it.
The safe list never lets your AI give out items with extra data (like a written book or a named sword), or send chat text that runs a command when clicked. You can still make those buttons yourself.
Buttons that run a command as the player who clicks run with that player's own rights, so the safe
list does not apply to them, with one exception: your AI can never publish a button with a command on
the never list (like op, stop, execute or permission plugin commands such as lp), even as the
player, because a staff member pressing it would run it with their rights.
Every press runs the command again. Buttons are not used up: each press runs the command once more, so tell your AI when something should happen only once, and it will use a command that checks for itself (a kit with a cooldown, say). See The menu builder.
Pictures
Your AI can use pictures you have uploaded and our own icons. It cannot upload pictures itself.
